Yoga is not just about stretching. I like to bring all aspects of Yoga into the class, and each week there is a focus of an aspect of Yogic Philosophy. We begin the class by taking some time to relax the mind and body with focus on the breath – encouraging you to leave the day behind.
Then there will be some gentle warm up exercises to prepare the body before we begin the Asanas (postures). I bring some somatics and restorative yoga to the practice to encourage connection between the mind, body and breath.
At the end of the session, we relax the body before closing with some mantra chanting.
